OPT Days does not collect your personal information.

There is no account to create, no analytics, and no tracking. The dates you enter stay on your iPhone.

At a glance

What we collect? Nothing. OPT Days has no sign-in, no user accounts, and no analytics or advertising software of any kind. The app contains no third-party SDKs — it is built entirely with Apple's own frameworks. We do not collect, receive, store, sell, or share any personal information about you.

What you enter, and where it lives To calculate your unemployment days, OPT Days asks you for dates and employment periods, such as:

• Your program end date and DSO recommendation date • Your EAD start and end dates, and STEM EAD dates • Your passport expiry, I-94 expiry, and travel signature date • The start and end dates of jobs, and whether each job meets the 20-hour minimum

All of this is stored only on your device, in a private container shared between the app and its widgets so your Lock Screen can show the same numbers. It is never uploaded, never backed up to our servers, and never visible to us. We have no way to see it. If your iPhone is set to back up to iCloud, your app data may be included in your own iCloud backup, under your Apple Account. That backup belongs to you and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We have no access to it.

Network use OPT Days works fully offline. The only network request the app can make is to download an updated copy of the immigration

rules themselves — the day limits and filing windows used in the calculation — so that the numbers stay current if the rules change. This is a plain download of a public file. No information about you or your dates is sent with it. The request contains no account, no identifier, and no device fingerprint.

Purchases OPT Days Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Your payment is handled entirely by Apple; we never see your name, card, or billing details. Apple provides us only with aggregate, anonymous sales figures. Your purchase status is stored on your device.

Notifications Deadline alerts are scheduled locally on your device by iOS. There is no push notification server, and no notification content ever leaves your iPhone. You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings.

Exporting your data The CSV export is created on your device and shared only when you choose to share it, to the destination you pick. We are not involved in that transfer and receive no copy.

Deleting your data Deleting the app removes everything it stored, permanently. There is nothing held anywhere else, so there is nothing for you to request from us and nothing for us to delete on your behalf.

Children OPT Days is intended for adults managing their own immigration status. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes to this policy If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change with it. Because the app collects nothing, we do not expect material changes.

Important OPT Days is an independent tracking tool. It is not affiliated with USCIS, SEVP, DHS, or your school, and nothing in the app is legal advice. Immigration rules change and individual cases differ. Your Designated School Official (DSO) and SEVIS are the authoritative sources for your record. Always confirm before you act.
